This terribly cold, strenuous year has entered it\'s warming period. Twentysomethings venture to the park for volleyball or soccer. Some throw frisbees or discs, if you prefer the neutral term. Also, the demo for Too Human has hit Live Marketplace. We suggest you go download it and play it. It\'s a game with as much controversy as variety, as little tact as subtlety.

Microsoft has been scooping up some of the most promising international talent in game development, and Real Time Worlds is no exception. Headed by David Jones, former head of the (in)famous DMA Studios, who created the Grand Theft Auto series, Real Time Worlds has produced a second-gen Xbox 360 title that exemplifies where next-gen gaming can go. To put it in marketing language (from all companies, not just MS), we\'ve moved beyond the era of \"GTA Clones\" and into the era of the \"action-driving\" genre. However you want to classify it, Crackdown looks like it will bring something good to the Xbox 360. It helps that Microsoft has tapped Real Time Worlds, which is headed by David Jones, and whose key members created the original Grand Theft Auto as well as Lemmings. So something good could happen here. Read on for more info about Crackdown, which should be on the must-have list for any action-driving fan.

Knights of the Old Republic II finds itself in the difficult position of trying to improve on one of the best games in recent years. The result is a game built on tried and true game dynamics, a darker emphasis than the original, and a new story that takes you from Star Wars planet to Star Wars planet, but doesn't break ground and drops you at the end. A blast to play, but missing a little bit of that special magic that was captured in the first, KotoRII might not rock your world. David has the inside scoop.
